2024 All-Department Charrette: Urbana Eco-Futures: Envisioning Climate Resilience at the City’s Eastern Threshold

Our 2024 All-Department Charrette, Urbana Eco-Futures: Envisioning Climate Resilience at the City’s Eastern Threshold, is taking place from Monday, Feb. 19, through Wednesday, Feb. 21. This is a collaborative design intensive in which students work in three large teams, each led by professionals from leading firms. The topic, site, and aims were developed by a committee of undergraduate and graduate students working with two faculty members.
The professional team leaders for this year’s charrette will be Hannah Cusick and Rashad Tiam Watt, from Living Habitats; Julie Donofrio and Nate Wooten, from OLIN Labs; and Cody Axness and Samantha Shui, from site design group. The event will culminate in a presentation of outcomes on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 3:30pm, in the atrium of Temple Buell Hall.
